I started 'web designing' in 2005, when I first started senior school. All of my friends had Piczo sites so I made one, but it was awful, so I soon made a
new one, which was also horrendous. Soon, I came across sites such as sweet-song-16 and decided I wanted my site to be more like them, so I changed the name
to californiansoul and it was actually quite good towards the end. I got bored of Piczo quickly and when a friend moved to Freewebs, I decided to as well.
My site on there was called xignition and I really liked it. Soon, I started applying for hosting, and
Alex accepted
me. I stayed with Alex for around six months, with regrette.viibrato.org, and then decided I wanted a domain of my own. After a lot of pleading with my
parents, freethrills.net was born on the 23rd July, 2007. When my host announced she was closing down, I decided to start over; new site name, new everything. I'm now happily hosted at
Kinohost, and hope to be for quite a while!
The name alphabetique means alphabetic in French. I love French, and I thought it sounded quite cute and quirky, so it was a fairly obvious site name.
There's no deeper meaning behind it than that, though!
